The sample may be refrigerated, contained in a poop bag or any clean dry sealed container. Feline samples may have a small amount of cat litter on them. Complete Urinalysis Test Requirements: Kindly arrive with a urine sample collected at home within 8 hours of your appointment, preferably collected directly into a sterile urine cup, alternatively in a clean dry container with a secure leak-proof lid. Keep urine refrigerated if collected more than 3 hours before your appointment. Minimum urine volume is 5ml (one teaspoonful). Urine mixed with cat litter is not acceptable. Calming Medication: If your pet is nervous, anxious, or fearful when handled or you believe they will benefit from calming medication for travel to the clinic, we can prescribe it. Please ensure that you obtain the medication and administer it as directed. *Will receive calming medication as prescribed, no less than 2 hours prior to appointmentWill not require calming medicationPet Sociability: We understand that not all pets are comfortable in social settings. Late Arrival and Missed Appointment Policy: To ensure efficiency and fairness to all clients, please note that arriving more than 5 minutes past your scheduled appointment time will result in the forfeiture of the appointment slot. Partial credit (total amount paid minus a $50 administration fee) will be applied to your pet’s account for future use, and can be utilized for future hospital purchases, including but not limited to examinations, diagnostic tests, food, treats, and supplements. 4. Blood Collection: If blood collection proves challenging due to anatomic variation, obesity or fragile veins, we are committed to ensuring your pet’s well-being. In such cases, a complimentary appointment for re-collection of blood will be scheduled. 5. If your pet requires calming medication and has not received it, leading to fearfulness and aggression impeding the blood collection, a partial credit (total amount paid minus a $50 administration fee) will be credited to your pet’s account for future hospital purchases.Submit
